Senior Life Solutions

Aging brings many joys - grandchildren, more free time in retirement, and wisdom gained over the decades. But, at the same time, our older years can also bring the loss of loved ones, stresses of age-related health concerns, or dimished self-esteem.

Mercy Medical Center-Centerville Hospital's Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive group counseling program for individuals over age 65, aims to provide assistance to people who are dealing with emotional or behavior issues ofetn related to aging. If you or someone you know suffers from any of the following, this program might be right for you.

  • Crying
  • Hopelessness
  • Loneliness
  • Restlessness
  • Sadness
  • Coping with loss
  • Decreased energy
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Low self-confidence

Following an individual assessment, group participants meet three times per week in a supportive, encouraging setting.  The program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed therapist, registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of the seniors in our community.

Mercy Medical Center-Centerville opened the Senior Life Solutions program on February 5, 2015. Family members, physicians, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
