~~Mercy Medical Center - Centerville is pleased to announce the addition of Jackie Stajcar, ARNP to the clinic’s team of medical practitioners. Stajcar will begin her duties on February 27th and will join the Quick Care service at the clinic.
Stajcar received her MSN and BSN at Clarkson College. Since 2010, she has worked at the hospital as an emergency room nurse. Stajcar said her goal was always to be an RN but saw she could help more people by becoming a nurse practitioner.
As an experienced emergency room nurse, Stajcar is a proponent of the clinic’s new quick care service. “By choosing to use Quick Care for the less emergent conditions, patients can save time and money compared to the emergency room with longer waits and higher out of pocket costs,” Stajcar said.
According to Clint Christianson, hospital president, Stajcar is a welcome addition to the clinic staff. “Jackie has been an outstanding emergency room nurse, receiving high marks from patients who have a lot of confidence in her care and are anxiously awaiting her arrival at the clinic,” Christianson stated. “She is patient focused and will bring the Mercy Experience to her work at the clinic,” he added.
With the addition of Stajcar, Christianson said the clinic plans to extend Quick Care to include services on Saturday and Sunday beginning in May.
