~~CENTERVILLE, IOWA – Community members are invited to join the Senior Life Solutions Program at Mercy Medical Center - Centerville for an open house on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 3PM-6PM.
Whitney Hornaday, Senior Life Solutions Program Director, said, “I’m looking forward to celebrating our three year anniversary with our open house. This is a way for us to thank our referral sources and also meet other people in the community who want to learn more about our services. This event is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in Senior Life Solutions to come and see what the program has to offer and meet the staff.”
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the program facility and ask questions while enjoying light refreshments.
Mercy Medical Center – Centerville’s Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety often related to aging.
Following an individual assessment, participants meet three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting. The program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed social workers, a registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of the seniors in our community. Family members, physicians, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
