Support Groups: Make Connections, Get Help
 

A support group brings together people facing similiar issues.  Members often share experiences and advice and they can support each other. Probably the biggest advantage of support groups is helping a patient realize he or she is not alone.  A support group can be a vaulable resource to help you cope. Mercy Medical Center-Centerville offers several support groups each month. 

Parkinson's Support Group
Meets the third Thursday of each month, 5:30pm-7:30pm in Conf. Room A

Alzhemier's Support Group
Meets the third Friday of each month, 9:00am-10:00am in South Cafe

Breast Feeding Support Group (click on link for more information)
Meets the first Tuesday of each month, 6:00pm-8:00pm in South Cafe

Diabetes Support Group
Meets the second Wednesday of each month, 5:00pm-6:00pm in Conf. Room A

Cancer Support Group
Meets the second Thursday of each month, 4:00pm-6:00pm in Conf. Room A

NA Support Group
Meets every Wednesday and Sunday, 7:30pm in South Cafe
